Hellooooooo people!!!! Im becoming a pro missionary day by day lol just kidding i still have a long way to go but i like to think im getting the hang of things. hmmm lets see... GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEK. Ive never been so excited for general conference in my entire life. Usually im excited for it because i can 'accidentally' fall asleep. But this time i am so hyped to hear from all of the general authorities. Its gonna be great :D Last P-day after i was done emailing, me and a few other missionaries went to the stake center where we balled it up! And you know me, i was throwin down some 360 windmill dunks on everyone no biggy. I showed them all real quick who the REAL baller is. If we are being completely honest..this week was AWESOME. It's crazy how many little miracles/tender mercies you see as a missionary. 90% of the time they are little things that I would otherwise think to be just a coincidence but no.THEY ARE MIRACLES YO. Th...

I've been in Washington a full week!!! It's been awesome/hard/fun!! Let me give ya'll some info Last tuesday i woke up at 2:30am so i could catch my 7:15 flight to washington! The flight went as expected. Sooooooo many trees. Flying over washington it was literally packed with trees, everything was soooo green and it's about to get even greener. Rain season is upon us ladies and gents. Anyway, after we landed we were picked up by our lovely mission president and his wife and were taken to the mission office where we ate lunch and dinner. After dinner all of the trainers showed up and we were assigned to our companions!!  My trainer/dad is Elder Simonsen. He is a stuuuuud. He is from Richfield Utah, played football and wrestled in high school. I am his last companion!!! He is on his last transfer. He is anything but trunky, he is a hard working dude and a great example to me of what a full-time missionary is. He is somewhat of a gym rat, he loves prote...

WASHINGTON (9-11-17)

Seattle Temple Hello Family!! Since i fly out tomorrow, i kinda get robbed of a P-day. So today we get to pack, do laundry, and email. Half of our district, the ones that are going to new mexico, left at 3am this morning. Bitter sweet moment to see them go, but i know they are going out to do awesome things. Sunday Nights devotional was AWESOME. Chad Lewis spoke to us!! (BYU/NFL player) It was just a super fun talk. He talked about football, he talked about his mission, he talked about Christ. All of the essentials lol His wife also spoke and did an awesome job. My favorite devotional by far. Something else that is cool - Chad Lewis' nephew, Elder Lewis, is in my zone! So he got a shout out during the devotional.   Sad to hear about the BYU vs UTAH game. I could see the stadium and hear the band from my classroom the night of the game. That was fun lol it was weird thinking that you were all just over there, so close to me, watching the game. Anyway, i got over t...

Me and my flippin awesome teacher Sister Winegar Hello peeoople! Iv been here at the wonderful MTC for about 2 weeks! and i only have 1 more week to go! Thats right i leave the mtc to head for Washington next Tuesday !! at 3 in the morning... However im still super stoked. I still dont feel quite prepared but im getting there. If you know me you know im a BYU fan. So the lord has blessed me with a classroom that has a perfect view of the LaVelle Edwards stadium. LOL i have yet to hear the crowd which i also see as a blessing. Plus ive heard BYU is aight so im not too sad about missing the action. Something cool - before coming to the MTC i had always heard that the spirit is soo strong here. It wasnt until a few days ago that i really found out that was true. Sunday , I dont know if ive ever been so emotional/peaceful at the same time. Every musical number performed and every hymn we sung made me want to flippin cry but i stayed strong like the big boy i am and he...

MTC Ball (8-29-17)

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! Its my first p-day and im nearly done with my first week here at the mtc! and i LOVE IT. The new building is amazing. The murals are sooo beautiful and cool! IM so grateful that i have my classes in the new building. Its pretty nice here because we basically have our schedules planned out for us. Its about 50/50 here when it comes to food. Sometimes you get somethin good and sometimes you dont. The chocolate milk and maple bars are the BOMB. Ive decided to stop eating desserts and drinking chocolate milk because i dont plan on sending pictures of me looking fat. Misisonary Kort = healthy Kort. Speaking of being healthy...I LOVE MTC BALL. the no dunking rule really kinda kills my vibe though. I dont have an opportunity to show off my hops heheh But for real exercise time is so nice. takes away the awesome stress of the mtc and makes me feel at home. Ive seen soooooooooooo many people i know here! Grant ellison, who just left for nashville yesterday, was my...
