Ride or Die m8 (9-25-17)



Hellooooooo people!!!! Im becoming a pro missionary day by day lol just kidding i still have a long way to go but i like to think im getting the hang of things.

hmmm lets see...

GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEK. Ive never been so excited for general conference in my entire life. Usually im excited for it because i can 'accidentally' fall asleep. But this time i am so hyped to hear from all of the general authorities. Its gonna be great :D

Last P-day after i was done emailing, me and a few other missionaries went to the stake center where we balled it up! And you know me, i was throwin down some 360 windmill dunks on everyone no biggy. I showed them all real quick who the REAL baller is.

If we are being completely honest..this week was AWESOME. It's crazy how many little miracles/tender mercies you see as a missionary. 90% of the time they are little things that I would otherwise think to be just a coincidence but no.THEY ARE MIRACLES YO.




This last Sunday was my first sunday in the ward! It was a success!! 4 new investigators!!! Standards is 1! Good things are happening here in Washington and i consider myself blessed to be apart of it. 2 of our investigators are my age which is kinda weird to think about but it actually makes it easier to talk to them and teach them. More relate-able ya know?

I've learned a few things since being out here. Spiritual things, things about life. I've also learned how flippin popular Dungeons and Dragons is (D&D as the pros call it) A few people in the ward that have fed us are very into it. The parents and the kids lol i really want to play it now...

Me and my dad (Elder Simonsen) are getting along very well. However, we have yet to wrestle each other...Maybe today hehe He is on his last transfer so that means i will get a new trainer, which im sad about :( 

Like I said, good things are happening. Missionary work is sweet. Watch general conference pls. Bikes are cool but we got new mission vehicles (See pic yo)

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! Its my first p-day and im nearly done with my first week here at the mtc! and i LOVE IT. The new building is amazing. The murals are sooo beautiful and cool! IM so grateful that i have my classes in the new building. Its pretty nice here because we basically have our schedules planned out for us. Its about 50/50 here when it comes to food. Sometimes you get somethin good and sometimes you dont. The chocolate milk and maple bars are the BOMB. Ive decided to stop eating desserts and drinking chocolate milk because i dont plan on sending pictures of me looking fat. Misisonary Kort = healthy Kort. Speaking of being healthy...I LOVE MTC BALL. the no dunking rule really kinda kills my vibe though. Miracles Yo (10-2-17)

HELLO MY FRIENDS! What a wonderful Conference weekend it has been! It was so flipping amazing. I've never gotten sooo much out of General conference before! Maybe it's because i didnt fall alseep lol So many great talks it's hard to choose a favorite. One that hit me really hard was President Nelson's talk. He asked the question "How precious is The Book of Mormon to you?" It was like a round house kick to the face. I need to strengthen my testimony on The Book of Mormon!!!!!!! I went on my first exchange this last week! Me and Elder Goodfellow (he is a very good fellow btw) had a blast. I was able to explore a new area, meet new people and LEARN. While on exchange we did some service at this assisted living home. Me and Elder Goodfellow helped about 10 old ladies "exercise" hehe we sat in chairs in a big circle and tossed a big balloon around LOL it was so much fun! Mac N Cheese (10-16-17)

Helloooooo!!! This whole week has been a blur. But so many cool things happened!! I went on splits again! This time with Elder Dalley. We were in the mtc together and are both newbies but we killed it! We talked with some crazy people but what's new? lol This email will be short and sweet. Hearing about weber gets me so hyped!! I wish they were that good when i was there lol crossing my fingers that they are still good 2 years from now hehe maybe byu is doing bad because they've started selling caffeinated drinks?? lolol I could be eating a little better. If it werent for biking i would probably have gained 10 pounds already... but that jump rope is awesome!!! I have a perfect spot to jump rope. Our apartment has a little patio that i go and jump on. :) our apartment also has a little work out room. Its got some treadmills, dumb bells, and a bow flex type machine.
