Wonderful MTC (9-5-17)

Hello peeoople! Iv been here at the wonderful MTC for about 2 weeks! and i only have 1 more week to go! Thats right i leave the mtc to head for Washington next Tuesday!! at 3 in the morning... However im still super stoked. I still dont feel quite prepared but im getting there.

If you know me you know im a BYU fan. So the lord has blessed me with a classroom that has a perfect view of the LaVelle Edwards stadium. LOL i have yet to hear the crowd which i also see as a blessing. Plus ive heard BYU is aight so im not too sad about missing the action.


Something cool - before coming to the MTC i had always heard that the spirit is soo strong here. It wasnt until a few days ago that i really found out that was true. Sunday, I dont know if ive ever been so emotional/peaceful at the same time. Every musical number performed and every hymn we sung made me want to flippin cry but i stayed strong like the big boy i am and held in those tears.






Let me tell ya'll a little bit about what goes on here at the MTC. So we are chastised that we should not pull pranks. But we are 18 year old boys who have a hard time being exactly obedient. Soooooo on wednesday when all the new elders arrive, the vetran elders collect spoons.. when the time is right and the newbies have all left their room. We raid their room and plant the spoons in their shoes, pillowcases, sheets, etc. Its harmless yet hilarious LOL However sunday we were chastised for it again...so people have now resorted to making other peoples bed without them knowing. HOW COULD THEY? amiright?

Im loving it here at the MTC and im excited to be leaving for washington soon!! It's seriously so cool to see all of these people here serving the lord. This is a happy place and the spirit is so strong here! I love you all!!!

FUNNY STORY: So here at the mtc you can buy mission shirts. All the cool people buy a shirt with their crazy foreign missions on it and wear them all over the mtc. Me and my companion are both going to washinigton. So of course we buy matching Ireland shirts. It says Ireland in bold and has the flag on it as well. Like the other cool missionaries we wear our Ireland mission shirts around the mtc and everybody asks us if thats where we are serving our missions. Everytime, me and my companion look at each other and say "YUP" Its so funny lololol Its awkward though when you run into someone who is actually going to Ireland though...hehe i LOVE it.

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! Its my first p-day and im nearly done with my first week here at the mtc! and i LOVE IT. The new building is amazing. The murals are sooo beautiful and cool! IM so grateful that i have my classes in the new building. Its pretty nice here because we basically have our schedules planned out for us. Its about 50/50 here when it comes to food. Sometimes you get somethin good and sometimes you dont. The chocolate milk and maple bars are the BOMB. Ive decided to stop eating desserts and drinking chocolate milk because i dont plan on sending pictures of me looking fat. Misisonary Kort = healthy Kort. Speaking of being healthy...I LOVE MTC BALL. the no dunking rule really kinda kills my vibe though. Miracles Yo (10-2-17)

HELLO MY FRIENDS! What a wonderful Conference weekend it has been! It was so flipping amazing. I've never gotten sooo much out of General conference before! Maybe it's because i didnt fall alseep lol So many great talks it's hard to choose a favorite. One that hit me really hard was President Nelson's talk. He asked the question "How precious is The Book of Mormon to you?" It was like a round house kick to the face. I need to strengthen my testimony on The Book of Mormon!!!!!!! I went on my first exchange this last week! Me and Elder Goodfellow (he is a very good fellow btw) had a blast. I was able to explore a new area, meet new people and LEARN. While on exchange we did some service at this assisted living home. Me and Elder Goodfellow helped about 10 old ladies "exercise" hehe we sat in chairs in a big circle and tossed a big balloon around LOL it was so much fun! Mac N Cheese (10-16-17)

Helloooooo!!! This whole week has been a blur. But so many cool things happened!! I went on splits again! This time with Elder Dalley. We were in the mtc together and are both newbies but we killed it! We talked with some crazy people but what's new? lol This email will be short and sweet. Hearing about weber gets me so hyped!! I wish they were that good when i was there lol crossing my fingers that they are still good 2 years from now hehe maybe byu is doing bad because they've started selling caffeinated drinks?? lolol I could be eating a little better. If it werent for biking i would probably have gained 10 pounds already... but that jump rope is awesome!!! I have a perfect spot to jump rope. Our apartment has a little patio that i go and jump on. :) our apartment also has a little work out room. Its got some treadmills, dumb bells, and a bow flex type machine.
