To everyone reading this email...The Gift of Tongues is real!!!! lolol but for real though. We run into a lot of people who say  "i dont speak english" or "ohh only spanish" Whether they speak english or not, i was tired of not being able to communicate. So ive learned spanish!! LOL We have some Hermanas serving in our district and they helped me and elder hancock out. Ive learned to say "We are misisonaries for the Church od Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We dont speak much spanish but we know other missionaries who do. Could we send them to your home?" As well as "what is your name? Number? Address?" Me and Elder Hancock bust out so many Spanish referrals, the Hermanas love us lol So much that they made us cookies hehe This last week was so good! We may or may not have acquired a felion friend hehe There is this cat that roams our apartment complex. And sometimes it ‘accidentally’ wanders into our apartment…We named her Whiskers. Mark  16:15  teaches us to “preach the gospel to every creature” So that’s what we did lolol (see pics)   Olloh. Another week has flown by! It’s Wednesday night, we are on our way to dinner when we come in contact with this man. We try talking to him and right off the bat he starts bashing about how Jesus didn’t come to the Americas and that Joseph Smith added to the Bible. We are told not to Bible Bash as missionaries because it doesn’t get you anywhere, which is true. Chickens at Play??   Hello fellow beings, Tis I, Elder Anderson reporting to you live from Everret, Washington. Fist things first…I am FANTASTIC. What a flipping wonderful week! To start out, we had zone conference on Tuesday. The topic was “Our need for a Savior” boy oh boy was it great. Totally felt the spirit and learned a lot. One question we focused on during ZC was “how does knowing our need for a savior change the way we act as one of his disciples?” Something along the lines of that…Anyway, if you aren’t already, think about YOUR need for a savior.                 Thursday me and Elder Goodfellow had a grand time while on exchange. He came to the Harbour Pointe ward with me J We had a day full of lessons all of which went pretty darn good. Our first lesson was with Jarret. We have had a few days of snow here in Everret Washington. Riding bikes in the snow is fantastic :)  PRIESTHOOD: Man have we had some neat experiences with priesthood blessings this last week. Sister Tidwell was in my mtc district and is just a super fun person. Her dad passed away this last week after a long battle with cancer. A few nights ago we had 8 priesthood holders (6 were missionaries) participate in a blessing of comfort. Maaan the spirit was sooooo strong, after the blessing i took a look around at all of the Elders and it just hit me how blessed we are to have the Priesthood authority in these days. Hello peeps!  I am doing fantastic and am loving life!! I have a new companion and his name is Elder Hancock!! He has been out a transfer longer than me so we are just two young guns takin on the world!!  We are doing well. We party PLUS we get work done! We got 3 new investigators this week! Hola!!! My spanish is moy bein.                                  Moments before me and Elder Simonsen parted ways :'(  This last sunday me and Elder Simonsen had the opportunity to go to the spanish branch! We even did a musical number with the spanish missionaries, in Spanish! Even though i didn't understand anything that was said during that meeting the spirit was still the same :)  Sunday was bitter sweet. I had to say goodbye to Elder Simonsen :'( He took off after sacrament. He is on a plane heading home as we speak! He has been such a good trainer and i've been able to learn so much from him. But, i am excited for the next step! Transfers are tomorrow!!! I'll find out who my new companion is then :) For the time being i have been 3-packing with the Elder Goodfellow and Elder Dalley.
