Felion (11-20-17)


We may or may not have acquired a felion friend hehe There is this cat that roams our apartment complex. And sometimes it ‘accidentally’ wanders into our apartment…We named her Whiskers. Mark 16:15 teaches us to “preach the gospel to every creature” So that’s what we did lolol (see pics) 



 Olloh. Another week has flown by! T’was in fact a great week J We hit standards again!!!! 2 new lovely investigators and one of them came to church! Me and Elder Hancock have been blessed.

 Okay, story time. It’s Wednesday night, we are on our way to dinner when we come in contact with this man. We try talking to him and right off the bat he starts bashing about how Jesus didn’t come to the Americas and that Joseph Smith added to the Bible. We are told not to Bible Bash as missionaries because it doesn’t get you anywhere, which is true. So me and Elder Hancock “defended the Faith” (code for bashing lol) Anyway, basically we proved this guy wrong with the bible and left him in aw. Tbh it felt pretty good because we felt like we had “won”. Buuuut just a few hours later the Lord chastised us lol that same night we were helping the Priests out with their mutual activity. We were teaching them how to study using Preach my Gospel and stuff. Some how the topic of Bashing came up and one of the Priest quorum advisers said “Sometime missionaries get prideful and bash. Don’t bash, it gets you no where and you’ll never win.” Lol that was like a round-house kick to the face. I was quickly humbled after he said that..

Anyway the rest of the week was flippin sweeeeet. Friday was a day full of MIRACLES. Every day is filled with miracles of course but Friday was flippin amazing. To star out me and Elder Hancock planned to go see a less active member. We had stopped by his place a couple times prior but never seemed to catch him. This time we did! He just happened to be off work that day and we had a good chat and invited him to the upcoming ward Christmas party!
There was another member who lived nearby so we planned to see him as well. Turns out he has been sick for the last week and wanted a priesthood blessing!! We gladly helped out with that J

FriDay of Miracles pt. 2 – So a few days ago we received a referral from the Federal Way mission. This man, Ben, was being taught by some missionaries down there. Anyway, he moved into our area and we got in contact with him. We were able to see him Friday night and boy oh boy. This man is AWESOME. He looooovvees the Book of Mormon. He recognizes the spirit when its there. And he wants to be baptized before Christmas!! Ben is so prepared its awesome. PLUS he gave us a bonsai tree!!! Me and Elder Hancock have been searching for a mini Christmas tree so this was perfect hehe #BLESSED 

That’s just a portion of all that goes on hehe I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I’m so thankful for the restored gospel and joy it brings into our lives. The Church is True!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! Its my first p-day and im nearly done with my first week here at the mtc! and i LOVE IT. The new building is amazing. The murals are sooo beautiful and cool! IM so grateful that i have my classes in the new building. Its pretty nice here because we basically have our schedules planned out for us. Its about 50/50 here when it comes to food. Sometimes you get somethin good and sometimes you dont. The chocolate milk and maple bars are the BOMB. Ive decided to stop eating desserts and drinking chocolate milk because i dont plan on sending pictures of me looking fat. Misisonary Kort = healthy Kort. Speaking of being healthy...I LOVE MTC BALL. the no dunking rule really kinda kills my vibe though. Miracles Yo (10-2-17)

HELLO MY FRIENDS! What a wonderful Conference weekend it has been! It was so flipping amazing. I've never gotten sooo much out of General conference before! Maybe it's because i didnt fall alseep lol So many great talks it's hard to choose a favorite. One that hit me really hard was President Nelson's talk. He asked the question "How precious is The Book of Mormon to you?" It was like a round house kick to the face. I need to strengthen my testimony on The Book of Mormon!!!!!!! I went on my first exchange this last week! Me and Elder Goodfellow (he is a very good fellow btw) had a blast. I was able to explore a new area, meet new people and LEARN. While on exchange we did some service at this assisted living home. Me and Elder Goodfellow helped about 10 old ladies "exercise" hehe we sat in chairs in a big circle and tossed a big balloon around LOL it was so much fun! Mac N Cheese (10-16-17)

Helloooooo!!! This whole week has been a blur. But so many cool things happened!! I went on splits again! This time with Elder Dalley. We were in the mtc together and are both newbies but we killed it! We talked with some crazy people but what's new? lol This email will be short and sweet. Hearing about weber gets me so hyped!! I wish they were that good when i was there lol crossing my fingers that they are still good 2 years from now hehe maybe byu is doing bad because they've started selling caffeinated drinks?? lolol I could be eating a little better. If it werent for biking i would probably have gained 10 pounds already... but that jump rope is awesome!!! I have a perfect spot to jump rope. Our apartment has a little patio that i go and jump on. :) our apartment also has a little work out room. Its got some treadmills, dumb bells, and a bow flex type machine.
