Chickens at Play??

  Hello fellow beings, Tis I, Elder Anderson reporting to you live from Everret, Washington. Fist things first…I am FANTASTIC. What a flipping wonderful week!

To start out, we had zone conference on Tuesday. The topic was “Our need for a Savior” boy oh boy was it great. Totally felt the spirit and learned a lot. One question we focused on during ZC was “how does knowing our need for a savior change the way we act as one of his disciples?” Something along the lines of that…Anyway, if you aren’t already, think about YOUR need for a savior.

                Thursday me and Elder Goodfellow had a grand time while on exchange. He came to the Harbour Pointe ward with me J We had a day full of lessons all of which went pretty darn good. Our first lesson was with Jarret. He is an investigator we’ve had since my first week in the area. We taught him…The Law of Chastity. T’was my first time teaching this lesson and it went very well! Tbh it was hard not to laugh while role playing this lesson. But! The lesson itself was quite swell. One of our other lessons was with sUSAn. Susan is a Phillipino lady who loves the USA lol She also gives us a whole cake after every lesson with her (not even mad) Our lessons with her can be frustrating sometimes because it seems like she doesn’t quite understand what we mean. Especially when it comes to inviting her to be baptized/go to church… Our exchange was a blast and I learned a lot from good ole Elder Goodfellow J

                Miricale story: To hit “Standards” in the Everret, Washington mission you need to have 2 people with a baptismal date, 2 new investigators and 1 person at sacrament meeting. Since me and Elder Hancock have been companions we’ve struggled to hit standards. But, not this week!!!! We hit starndards!! We picked up 2 new ivestigators! They are these sick Africans who speak French! One of them speaks close to 0 English but the other man speaks pretty good English so he helped translate a bit.
And to top it off, ma boi Jarret came to Church and had a grand time!!

                So, it has been a great week and I am so grateful to be apart of this amazing work! I hope ya’ll have a wonderful week!! Be Good plz. Mosiah 4:30 ;)

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!! Its my first p-day and im nearly done with my first week here at the mtc! and i LOVE IT. The new building is amazing. The murals are sooo beautiful and cool! IM so grateful that i have my classes in the new building. Its pretty nice here because we basically have our schedules planned out for us. Its about 50/50 here when it comes to food. Sometimes you get somethin good and sometimes you dont. The chocolate milk and maple bars are the BOMB. Ive decided to stop eating desserts and drinking chocolate milk because i dont plan on sending pictures of me looking fat. Misisonary Kort = healthy Kort. Speaking of being healthy...I LOVE MTC BALL. the no dunking rule really kinda kills my vibe though. I dont have an opportunity to show off my hops heheh But for real exercise time is so nice. takes away the awesome stress of the mtc and makes me feel at home. Miracles Yo (10-2-17)

HELLO MY FRIENDS! What a wonderful Conference weekend it has been! It was so flipping amazing. I've never gotten sooo much out of General conference before! Maybe it's because i didnt fall alseep lol So many great talks it's hard to choose a favorite. One that hit me really hard was President Nelson's talk. He asked the question "How precious is The Book of Mormon to you?" It was like a round house kick to the face. I need to strengthen my testimony on The Book of Mormon!!!!!!! I went on my first exchange this last week! Me and Elder Goodfellow (he is a very good fellow btw) had a blast. I was able to explore a new area, meet new people and LEARN. While on exchange we did some service at this assisted living home. Me and Elder Goodfellow helped about 10 old ladies "exercise" hehe we sat in chairs in a big circle and tossed a big balloon around LOL it was so much fun! Mac N Cheese (10-16-17)

Helloooooo!!! This whole week has been a blur. But so many cool things happened!! I went on splits again! This time with Elder Dalley. We were in the mtc together and are both newbies but we killed it! We talked with some crazy people but what's new? lol This email will be short and sweet. Hearing about weber gets me so hyped!! I wish they were that good when i was there lol crossing my fingers that they are still good 2 years from now hehe maybe byu is doing bad because they've started selling caffeinated drinks?? lolol I could be eating a little better. If it werent for biking i would probably have gained 10 pounds already... but that jump rope is awesome!!! I have a perfect spot to jump rope. Our apartment has a little patio that i go and jump on. :) our apartment also has a little work out room. Its got some treadmills, dumb bells, and a bow flex type machine. So we go and exercise there every once in a while. The weather has been nice. Its cool but t...
